Murdock Banbridge support Michelle Moult in Miami

This week our Branbridge branch sponsored Michelle Moult. Michelle has already won her category at the British Natural Bodybuilding Federation in Belfast this year and now sets off Miami to complete in the Worlds with the Drug Free Athletic Coalition.

A note from Michelle,

"On Sunday 24th June this year I competed in the BNBF (British Natural Bodybuilding Federation) Qualifier at the Waterfront in Belfast.  I was up against 6 other fantastic athletes and am delighted to say I won my category the Masters Figure and received the golden invitation to complete in the British Finals in Liverpool later that year.

After only one week off on a family holiday to Portrush, it was straight back into prep and training.  This was going to be a much bigger competition with winners from all over Britain coming together to battle it out, so I had to work even harder and commitment and dedication was always at the forefront of my mind.

The British Finals took place on Sunday 7th October in the amazing Echo Arena in Liverpool.  There were 8 girls in m category and I placed 3rd!  I was ecstatic to place 3rd in all of Britain in the Masters Figure category. To top it all off I later received an invitation to compete in the Worlds in Miami with the DFAC (Drug Free Athletic Coalition)!  It was a complete shock but also a dream come true.

So, with only 5 weeks until the Worlds I have to honestly say it did take some serious thought as the expense and leaving my kids while at school was a lot to consider.  But my mind was made up I was going to grab this opportunity with both hands and give it all I have.  To be part of the UK British Team representing our wee country in Miami against some of the best athletes from around the world is just amazing.

With the support from my main sponsor Murdock Builders Merchants I am very excited to accept this opportunity and I can’t thank Ann Morgan (CEO), all of the Directors and staff enough.

I will work my socks off for this and do my best representing NI!"

Good luck Michelle!
