The Makita DKP180Z 18v 82mm Planer is a powerful planer with up to 2mm cutting depth per pass and depth adjustment in 0.1mm increments. It features enhanced chip ejection and a foot for protecting the workpiece and blades. It also accepts Makita 18v Li-ion batteries.

The Makita DRT50ZJ has a brushless motor that is precision engineered to be up to 50% more efficient than a comparative model. Without brushes in place to apply friction a Brushless motor can produce a greater measure of torque per weight making it ideal for both professionals and DIYers.
